For a reader of every book... it can be BORING.. as the descriptions are so similar to previous descriptions.... JD Robb sometimes refers backs to previous characters and arrests.... sometimes I would want foot notes reminding me which book they are from as my memory is horrible.

I do think you can read the books in any order and still have an enjoyable read ... doing so will probably drop you down THE RABBIT HOLE ... then you will have to read them all.(less)
