Pippa
Pippa asked Melanie Dickerson:

Hi Melanie, I have just finished all of the books that are out in the Hagenheim series. I was wondering what age you would recommend your Thornbeck Forest books to, I am 13 and absolutely loved the other series? Thanks so much, Pippa p.s your books are amazing!!

Melanie Dickerson Hi, Pippa! The first two Thornbeck books were written more for adults, but they are perfectly okay for most teens. The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest touches on the issue of human trafficking and prostitution as it existed in Medieval times, although it's not a major part of the plot. And The Beautiful Pretender has a few more kisses than my other books, and more scenes with the hero and heroine in close physical proximity, though without any immorality, and nothing more than kissing. I allowed my daughter to read them when she was 12 or 13, but my daughters are fairly mature for their age, and I talk to them about anything they want to ask me about.
