Eugene asked Rainbow Rowell:

I've been waiting eagerly to hear you've released your next Young Adult novel. Now I'm beginning to fear that you may be avoiding the genre. Can you banish my fears?

Rainbow Rowell I'm definitely not abandoning YA, but I feel like I really need to *shift* after every project. To a new format, new genre, new type of story...

After I finished Carry On, I needed a break from novel-writing. I've written a short story, graphic novel and a screenplay since then. and I'm just now thinking about another book. I'm not sure that shifting so much is good for my career, but it's necessary for my brain.
