I'm definitely not abandoning YA, but I feel like I really need to *shift* after every project. To a new format, new genre, new type of story...
After I finished Carry On, I needed a break from novel-writing. I've written a short story, graphic novel and a screenplay since then. and I'm just now thinking about another book. I'm not sure that shifting so much is good for my career, but it's necessary for my brain.

On Twitter you mentioned that quarantine has moved up the release date of AWTWB by nearly a year- was that a joke or were you serious? I can’t wait to read it but I’m wondering if you have an estimated amount of years left before it comes out (another four by any chance?)? Of course I mean this in no way to rush you! I am just very curious, and if you have no idea I also understand that. I hope you are staying Safe!
