What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ryan Jo Summers We get to create places and people, the good and the bad. We can escape to these places and hang out with these people, if only in our minds. We get the thrill of knowing somewhere, someone is reading one of our stories and we had a part in helping them escape their current world, if only for a little while. Plus, seeing our names on the book cover is a thrill that does not seem to get old. We are leaving something indelible behind, a part of ourselves that will continue on.
