I'm currently reading Girl Unreserved and enjoying it very much your a hell of a good writer by the way, my question is if you know Jim Northrup, I assume so since it's a small community. How is it that such a small reservation comes up with two super good writers?

I met Jim once or twice at pow wows where he was selling his books. His work influenced me as a young adult. He was from Fond du Lac, and I am from Red Lake, but both are Anishinaabe reservations in MN. : )
