I'm curious about how much you know about Victor's background. Have you written his entire backstory (in your mind, if nothing else)?

Tom Wood Not in its entirety. I know a more than a reader, obviously, but most of what I do know can be found in the books through what Victor says and does (or doesn't). I want to learn about him as I write him, in an organic, natural way. I want him to be able to surprise the reader, and the best way for that to happen is for him to surprise me too.

?Your books are INCREDIBLE!!! Until they came along, my favorites had been "Mitch Rapp/Jason Bourne/Nicholas Linnear/Pike Logan. Yet, Victor seems to be a notch above all of them in terms of sheer "badassery" coupled with the way you write that just makes hard to put the books down, and sad once I get through it, anxiously awaiting his next adventure!!!.
