Would Brasti become the saint of archery if (cant remember the name of the saint who rides on arrow) had died in saints blood?
Would Ethalia's Baby be like shuran? a half saint thing? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Sainthood in the world of Tristia is deeply connected with faith and the embodiment of a specific virtue (or vice). Though Brasti is unquestionably a terrific archer, his abhorrence for faith and religiosity would likely prevent the spiritual force from inhabiting him. Thus, despite his desire to one-up Kest and Falcio, it's unlikely he'd ever become a Saint.
As to Ethalia's baby, that is a subject I must keep secret for a while yet! (hide spoiler)]

Just finished the Greatcoat series and loved it!!!
One part I can't quite figure out is at the end. When Falcio asks which heir was "really" the charoite, and the king responds by saying "What's a charoite?"
I'm missing something. Was this ghost not really the king? Was the search for the charoites part of Falcio's madness? That doesn't track because Cunien was also asked to find the charoites. I'm confused. :-(

Hello- one of my friends recommended your book to me and actually bought me a copy. I look forward to reading it, but I need to finish another series first. In the mean time, I was wondering if it would be appropriate for my 12-year old son? I'm not worried about his reading level (he's a voracious reader and loves fantasy), but rather his maturity level. Thanks!
