Was anyone else disappointed?? I mean she changed and she worked on her relationships with others but she never tried to change her friends? I just feel like now she's gone nothing will change. If she lived she could have made a more positive impact on others/changed the dynamics at school

I was disappointed too. I don't even think she changed that much. She said "I love you" to her parents and was nice to her sister? She decided to dump her boyfriend? These are all changes, to me, anyways that don't have giant impacts on her character. Ultimately, she still loved her friends, loved the way her life was, and I don't think doing a few nice things for girls you've hurt and sabotaged for no good reason erases that. If anything, I think her "sacrifice" at the end was less about saving Juliet and more about saving herself. Not to mention how horrible Juliet will be treated when everyone turns on her and blames her for Sam's death. I think her going out like this was done in a way to get the best afterlife she possibly could, and she left everyone else sad and angry and worse off. (less)
