What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Allison Bruning That's a great question! Actually, the most influencial mystery in life was when I was a child. My parents were divorced and I was raised by my mother. My mother's family was Appalachian Irish and Scottish. My father's parents were from Germany. As I grew up, I had noticed that I didn't act nor look like my mother's side of the family. I was always told I looked like my dad. He died when I was nine from Lung Cancer. I often would ask my mom if I had been adopted. It wasn't until I was an adult that I was able to meet my half brother. He told me I was the spitting image and personality of my Grandma Bruning.
