Random question from a big fan of yours: Is there any real time periods & places that you had in mind while writing Tuesdays in the Castle and Dragon Slippers? I love drawing fanart of my favorite characters and I just wanted a reference what types of clothes they would be wearing!

Nope! Well, I guess you could go with early Renaissance for the Castle Glower books. But Dragon Slippers? Um . . . Yeah, nope. I made that one up entirely!

Earlier you mentioned that Celie + Pogue get together sometime after the series ended, and there were romantic implications between them in the later books. At what point did you decide to pair them up? At the beginning I was sure Lilah and Pogue would continue on, and I assumed that must’ve been your first plan. Didn’t expect to like Celie and Pogue’s dynamic so much, though I’m curious to know how it came to be.
