I can't buy PANDEMIC till the third. In the meantime, is there a way to properly inoculate myself against those annoying fatal viruses? Also, it must be brutal to be knowledgeable about those things.

In case anyone wants any real-life anti-pandemic tips, here goes: when you're around home, my suggestion is to live your life and not worry excessively about infectious diseases--your habits more than anything affect your health. If you're at risk, definitely get that flu shot every year. When traveling, make sure to wash your hands (or use an antibacterial wash). Definitely get any region-specific immunizations before traveling abroad. If traveling to Africa, Asia, South America, or the Middle East, and especially spending time outside of major cities, I would visit your primary care provider and ask about a travel med kit.
