Not too many mysteries in my life, but I could write a novel about my mother's experience during WWII. She was 11 when the war broke out, 16 when it ended and she never wanted to speak about what she saw and experienced. "Perhaps some other time," she would say..."One day." And then she lost her memory to Alzheimer's and I will never know what she lived through.
