How do you get inspired to write?

Neetha Joseph My specialization is English Literature and it is not uncommon for literature students to try their hand at creative writing. I began with short stories, poems, however, had never invested any serious effort into my previous compositions. However, if I were to pinpoint the exact source of my inspiration to become an author I would state that it is the outcome of an existential search. There was this moment of revelation when I felt that I had a compelling tale to tell and I must put pen to paper.
