Goodreads asked Neetha Joseph:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Neetha Joseph It would be beneficial for them to have a clear cut view of the purpose of why they are undertaking such an enterprise. Once this is clear it would be useful to use autobiographical material to start with as anything that comes from within never fails to have a profound effect on responders. Self-publishing sans reliance on publishing companies might be a good way to begin with, especially, if you have economical issues. All the writer has to pay for would be the copyright fees and ISBN with barcode. Kindle Direct Publishing and other free publishing platforms are available for first time authors. If your book is really good the publishing company would come to you. So be brave.
