I know this may sound simplistic, but just write. There will always be those who will want to read what you write. There will be many more who will if it is written well. Therefore, be sure you have a good editor. Also, proofread, proofread, proofread! It always amazes me how many mistakes get through. Our minds tend to correct them because we know what it should read. Sometimes, have a new set of eyes on the text makes all the difference.
