Hi, I love the JDATE books and got the audiobooks to listen to at work. If you've listened to the audiobooks have you heard a sentence read completely different to how it runs in your head?

I get similar questions about the movie, there are probably places where I had different tone in mind or whatever but I also make it a point in life to not second guess other people's choices if it doesn't have the potential to help anything. "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that specific joke needed more of a pause, just in case somehow you wind up recording this exact same book again in the future." It's just not feedback anyone can do anything with, so there's no point letting it occupy space in my head. Nothing is ever going to be exactly perfect.

JDATE 3 is the end of your current book deal from what I've read. Do you plan on writing more novels after that? I'm a big fan of your work. Just so you know I'll buy any novel you put out for the rest of my life based on the quality of your first three books. Make more stuff, dude. Please make more stuff.

Do you have any writing exercises you'd like to suggest? I try and write one thing a day, whether it be a book review or a sketched out interaction between different forms of my insanity. What I have trouble with the most is finding a starting point though. Once I get my foot on the ledge I can blather, I just need to find a better way than blindly kicking the rock face as I scramble in the dark.
