I get most of my books from book exchange programs (leave one, take one), or at the library for cheap (donated to help raise funds) or borrow Play-Away audio from the library. I have read several of this series in no particular order. It usually takes me a couple of minutes to figure out when it fits, but then I'm good.

Reading the two books prior to reading Two Graves helps fill in some gaps. Fever Dream, Cold Vengeance, and Two Graves are considered the Helen trilogy.
