Goodreads asked Henry McLaughlin:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Henry McLaughlin This question has me stumped because I can't see anything in my own life that was all that mysterious. Looking back, I can see how my life has played out. There were times going through it when I wondered what would happen. But from this side it all seemed to happen naturally with God's divine intervention.
I can see his hand in guiding my marriage and raising our family, in the career choices, in moving halfway across the country because we believed he called us to Texas. His hand has been on me in following the dream to be a writer and teacher and coach.
The biggest mystery is why did God chose me, why did he plan this life for me. This is the mystery in everybody's life, I guess. And I won't know all the answers until I get to heaven.
From where I stand now, I could say I lived through events that were mysteries at the time, but now I see they were all part of God's plan for me.
