Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

B.C. Deeks I'm not sure exactly - there is long-established tradition of witch lore in Newfoundland culture; that my background. My ancestors believed in everything from fairies to leprechauns, four-leaf clovers to banshees, and had all sorts of rituals to ward off evil spirits or bad luck. And, like the Irish, we love to spin a tale! Suffice it to say, folktales and storytelling are bred into my family genes.
