What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Alexie Aaron This is a very interesting question. I pull so much from my own life when I write the three series. I left home at eighteen and married my high school sweetheart. I look at his coming into my life as a rescue. I really didn't like living were I grew up. He took me on a magical journey to North Carolina courtesy of the Marine Corps. From that point on every day was an adventure, a mystery to solve. In New Bern there is a reconstruction of a former state house called Tryon Palace. When we visited it, something strange happened to me. We were entering the servants' attic and I felt as if I was an empty glass being filled. I smelled smoke and lots of screaming filled my ears. I turned to my husband and pleaded to leave. Once in the garden the screaming stopped. What happened there before the place burned? I think there's a book there. Although, I suspect it has been already written.
