I have read the house of night series that you've written, and absolutely loved it!! I read them when I was still in high/middle school and have read them again as a young adult, and I still love the series. My question is where did you get the creativity/imagination, and inspiration to write about all these books? P.S I'm excited to read your latest release Moon-Chosen.

Hi Abby,
I'd written and published several books when my agent asked me if I'd consider writing a series set at a vampyre finishing school. I loved the idea as a YA series because I was teaching high school. I made the society matriarchal and based much of it on biology and brought in lots of issues I'd observed from teaching for 15 years (I'm from a family of teachers). It took 12 books to tell the original story arc because my publisher limited the size of the books.
I think you'll enjoy MOON CHOSEN! I loved creating that world!

If You were able to continue on with the Goddess Summoning series would the books be about more of the Greek Gods, or would you continue with the story's that you have already wrote? By the way I absolutely love this series I find it very refreshing on the fact that the women are very strong willed and quite sarcastic. I don't know how many times your books have made me laugh out loud.
