What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Gunner Alan Lindbloom Read, in the genre that you intend to write. And NEVER limit yourself to a "box." Use your creativity to guide you. Nobody cares about a "small" story, so make it BIG, as to entertain and help them escape fro the world they live in. Never give up on your dreams to be a writer. I spent 13 years in prison and still knew I would someday get out and be a successful writer. And here I am. If you know you have the gift, USE it. The world needs more great writers.
