A Goodreads user asked Jessica Gadziala:

How do you deal with writers block?

Jessica Gadziala To be perfectly honest (and I know I am going to get an eye roll here from some), I don't get it at all. This might be because my writing pace is grueling and I simply don't have time to waste to allow it to slip in. I occasionally have a day where I can't seem to find the "right" words. In which case, sometimes I just need a day to re-read what I have written and rest up. Then the next day, I am right back at it. In the words of the great Stephen King: “Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” - You have to just "push past" any supposed blocks.
