Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Micki Clark Don't Ask Me to Leave came from my wedding vows. My husband and I were married in 2002, and we used Ruth's words to Naomi as our vows. The words have always been so important to me, and one day, when I was re-reading them, I started wondering what it would be like for Ruth and Naomi today. That was it! The story was born.
