First of all I love the Inheritance Cycle but do you have any other ideas for other stories? If so what do you plan for your writing?

Christopher Paolini Oh, yes, I have many ideas! In terms of my current plans, I am just finishing the second draft of my new science fiction novel: https://www.paolini.net/books/sci-fi-.... Once that is done and in the process of going into print, there are a number of other stories I want to start that have been waiting to be written for years (until the Inheritance Cycle was complete ). I'm in the tabletop gaming industry and am really interested about if it would be possible to do Eragon in a board/card game? I understand you've said before that 20th Century Fox owns the rights to Eragon - but typically those things include only the content related to the movie. For example, FFG does Game of Thrones games based on the books, but not the show. All contracts are different, so I figured I'd ask?

If you could create another fictional language for a novel, which real life language would you base if off of? Or alternatively, which languages are the most intriguing to you? Your books are quite special to me; I've met a close friend through the Inheritance cycle. When I moved away, I was distraught. But just propping Eragon open reminds me that no matter the miles between us, memories will stay eternally with us.
