Goodreads asked Nancy Basile:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Nancy Basile I rarely get writer's block, because I've trained myself to write under pressure. As a freelance writer, there are many times you have to come up with words when a deadline is staring you in the face. You find ways of mining every resource available to kickstart your brain. As a writer once told me, "You can edit s--t, but you can't edit nothing." So, even if you think it's s--t, get it on paper or on the screen and fix it later.
