Hi, I just finished the Timber Ridge series. I loved it. I loved the depth of the characters and how real their struggles were. Thank you for being able to share your own faith walk through your books. I was wondering what happened to Charlie. Did he ever conquer the alcoholism? Did he reconcile with Lori Beth? Tamera Alexander Hey Kerri! Charlie is one of those characters I keep thinking about. He's a character that keeps "talking" to me. I'd love to write his and Lori Beth's story someday. In a novella, possibly? His struggle with alcoholism has been a long journey so his healing from it will also take him on a similar journey. But (in my mind and heart) Lori Beth is there with him every step of the way. And I love her character too. So raw, so real.
