I've been reading the Aurora Teagarden series, then watching the Hallmark movies as I've finished the respective book. The movies are so different from the books, and it bothers me to no end. I'm wondering if it bothers you, as well?

I think the Aurora movies are the closest to the books of any of my adaptations. No, it does't bother me. I learn so much every time I see my work changed to meet cinematic standards. Everyone is prettier, and usually younger, and all the adaptations are tailored to the demands of the demographic of the network broadcasting them.

I am really enjoying the new Midnight, Texas series. I feel it is a really good spin-off of the Sookie Stackhouse series. I am hoping that we will see more of Quinn and his son. I am wondering though if we will see Quinn find happiness finally in this series where it eluded him in Sookie's series?
