Do you have any advice for a person who dreams of being an author?

Robin Bootle I have loads of advice! But here's some really important things: 1) You have got to be determined. It will take you years potentially to write a decent book the first time around. 2) Don’t publish your book without a ton of feedback. And not feedback from your family and friends, unless you can be sure they’ll be harsh. But watch out for paid services who aren’t harsh enough. The tougher the feedback, the better your story will be. 3) Use the years it takes to write your book to build an audience, and a network of people who will support your book launch.
