what is your favorite book and why? did it help you get into writing? did it make you want to change the book more or less?

P.C. Cast I couldn't possibly choose one favorite book. Books that changed my life: Anne McCaffrey's Pern series, Tanith Lee's Silver Metal Lover, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Jane Eyre, Bradbury's Fahrienheit 451...the list goes on and on. I wrote my first book in first grade, so none of those got me into writing. I can't remember a time when I couldn't read or write. And, no. If a book is magic I don't want to change it at all, and only magical books are favorites.
