What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Cosmin Leucuța Read as much as you can. A good writer is firstly an avid reader. For every page you write, read at least 100 pages of stuff other people have written. And always be prepared to accept rejection, because that is what will happen most of the time. But don't be discouraged. Never be discouraged.
