Hi! I just finished Undertow and I absolutely loved it! I was wondering if there was a particular town (or even general part of the country) that inspired the setting in Paradise Cove? I hope maybe one day you could write a book about more best friends falling in love!! I really didn't want the book to end!!!!! I pray one day maybe you'll be a sequel about maybe the next generation of kids living in Paradise Cove!?!

Elizabeth O'Roark Glad you liked it! Yes -- Paradise Cove was modeled after Sullivan's Island in Charleston, SC. In reality there's not quite the have/have not dynamic as portrayed in the book but there are a number of early 1900s mansions, and a bar right in the center of town that was Oak in my head (I assume it's still there -- I moved to DC and haven't been back). I have a book about Mia (Jordan's wife) on the back burner ... it's written but needs fixing. Hope to get it out one day though!
