Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lynsay Sands Well, that's kind of a funny story. When I wrote An English Bride in Scotland, I just wrote that story without thinking of future books connected to it, but then the marketing and promo people at my publishers went around saying it was the first in a series. I was like...WHAT?! LOL. But they'd said it, so I had to follow the story up with another. I tried various things with secondary characters in the first story, but nothing was working (which might be because I don't like HAVING to do anything, lol) and then I thought, well, poo, I'll just drop it down a generation. Jo cropped up, the story rolled along nicely and then all these other characters presented themselves in her story. Now I can actually continue the series happily.
