WOW! After reading all of the reviews of those who have actually read the book, I'm wondering if I ought to just pitch it and not waste my time? I just started The Atlantis Gene, but if it's just going to drive me to drink.... maybe I'll pick something else?

Some of the stylistic criticisms are valid, but in my opinion are a little too hyperbolically used by people who wanted to give the book a bad rating.(less)
