Insomnia is about an old man, a widower, who can't sleep at night and starts to notice strange things happening in his little town after the sun goes down. It has some horror but nothing like The Shining or Salem's Lot. This is more the everyday horror of the world seeming askew and people acting strangely for no reason. (less)
