P.C. Cast Neferet had many ways to cause pain and agony. It depended upon her focus. After she became immortal her focus was on controlling her tendrils of Darkness and having them commit the violence for her.

You'll revisit some characters you already know in the new books, and you'll meet new ones. And that is all I will say about it.
