I don't think it ever states it in the book. But it is likely at least 100 years.

Without putting a number on it, I think it was several generations of the family because it was referenced early in the book that the wishsong magic tended to show up erratically, and not every descendent manifested any magical ability. I think in the case of Tavo and Tarsha, someone in the grandparent era had shown ability but none in the generation of their parents, which is why it was so rare and unpredictable to know who got it. That explains why they had no knowledge of how to control the use of the wishsong properly because no one was alive in the family to tell them, plus the Druids were not regarded as a source to ask.
