I've thoroughly enjoyed the Maisie series and look forward to the newest installment. I also liked your stand-alone book "The Care and Management of Lies". Any thoughts on continuing with those characters or writing something else distinct from Maisie?

Jacqueline Winspear Thank you for your question, Sue. I would love to write a sequel to THE CARE AND MANAGEMENT OF LIES - in fact, I have it all planned in my head! I just need the time. I am also in the process of doing my research for a nonfiction book, and have other fiction projects on the back burner. At the moment, my work on the Maisie Dobbs series takes up a lot of my time!

I've loved the Maisie Dobbs books since the first one. I'm intrigued by the techniques she learned from her guru. Are they based on your personal experiences? I also wonder if you map your novels the way Maisie makes case maps.
