Carol Sanderson
Carol Sanderson asked Jacqueline Winspear:

Who was one of your favorite authors when you were growing up?

Jacqueline Winspear When I was a child, I loved a British author named Ruby Ferguson. She wrote about Jill and her horses. For a girl who loved horses and would have given anything for a horse, I could have read every book one hundred times. Now I have my two horses, one of them jet black, which was something the Ferguson's heroine wanted. I also read a lot of westerns, mainly because my dad loved them and there were always westerns around, plus the very broad range of books my mother inhaled. She worked full time, yet could still polish off several books each week (and at 87 reads a book per day).
