I loved the fact that you had Maisie go to Dachau, years ago I visited the site and it has stayed with me ever since. So to hear/read about it in you book made the book come to life for me. In future books will you have Maisie get involved in Germany? I can't wait to read your new book.

Thank you, Lori. I don't think I will have Maisie return to Germany at this point - but you never know! I spent several days in Munich for my research for JOURNEY TO MUNICH, and I visited Dachau too.

I want to thank for Maisie Dobbs, as well. I enjoy reading mysteries series, so what you do fits me very well. However, while many series are extremely formulaic, yours are not. The writing is more literary than a normal mystery series. I always learn so much about the time period and the people when I read one of your books. And, your characters are so human, well-rounded, and real. How do you do this?
