J. Schlenker Hi John, No, this picture is of a lady I met when I was 8. She is 101 in the picture. She was 103 when I met her. She was born in 1858 into slavery. I'm currently writing a fictional novel based on her. This is my proposed book cover.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that gets butterflies. I've watched weavers before and wow, I have no idea how a person keeps up with all that, it's impressive. Cool thing to do. I've woodworked for many years, but last year my wife and I decided to start stockpiling so we can go to a show or two next year (she does stained glass). The shows I mean are just to sell things. Jurors? I'm not brave (or good) enough!
