Yeah I am pulling for that one- we would get a lot of folks who'd read it a while back but it just seems like an overdue discussion.

Just removed one option that had no votes yet - trying to keep things focused.

I can't vote in this. There aren't three books I would be willing to read, let alone want to read. As much as I think The Road is destined to become a classic, I don't want to read it again, and most of the recent stuff looks like drek.

The Gunslinger is probably the last King novel I ever read (and up to that point, I'd read all of them).

I've already read enclave and The Unwind and both were really good. It was hard to choose this month.

The Last Man on Earth Club was the only newish one that looked interesting.

So, my point is, I'm willing to vote for a book, and join the discussion even if my choice loses, but I'm not prepared to promise I'll read the next two, if none of them are my only choice (and so far, that looks likely).

I am just asking folks to return (circumstances allowing, of course) to discuss whatever they vote for for October, any books after that are no committment. I'm just hoping people are interested enough to come back and discuss the runner-ups.
