I believe (without having actually downloaded them and checking for myself) that there are free ebook versions of Day of the Triffids, Alas Babylon, and The Last Man.

So hard to choose! I have 3 favorites.By the way, Amazon reviews are saying that the cheap ($4.79) Kindle version of Day of the Triffids is riddled with typos and garbled text instead of letters. It may be that the free version has similar problems. Anyone know?
I have been trying to find one to download and check, but keep finding I have to jump through hoops. If anyone knows a good place to download Day of the Triffids, let us know...

My library version is just fine. Does anyone else have a library close by? It's a place that provides books to borrow for free.
