I enjoyed Addie but thought it was very slow until the 30ish% mark. Katabasis, I love Kuang’s writing but didn’t really connect and love the story - it actually just made me appreciate Babel more

You know that I have been actually flirting with this idea. Not buying anymore books. Like goodreads is killing me. I get on everyday see all kinds of reviews and almost everyday there is a new one to add. Like what the heck. Great idea. Katabasis is one I have on my shelf too so I will suggest that one :) Hope you can keep up your goal. I likely have enough books to last me at least a couple decades and I am not kidding!!
