I wanted to bring a good mix this month

We've got The Hand of the Sun King, a highly rated and seemingly well conceived epic fantasy.

The Atlas Six is a dark academia book with a lot of buzz, and what better time to read dark academia than in October?

The Book Eaters is pretty much hot off the presses, which is unusual for us, but the distribution seems fairly solid and this seems like it will definitely make it to the "best of" lists for this year.

The Hope of Aferi aka Wolf Queen is billed as a sword and sorcery type story with interesting characters and a well built world.

Bacchanal is a dark fantasy-slash-horror story combining the creepy atmospheric setting of a circus with Jim Crow south overtones.

I was quite impressed with "The Book Eaters" (not so much with "The Atlas Six", though ^^')

I guess I did not calibrate very well when thinking Atlas Six might balance with Book Eaters. But remember, second place gets another shot on a poll this year! You can play monarchy maker!
