what happened this time?"
Transphobic comments, racist comments, fat shaming, jokes about sexual harassment and slut shaming in her books. I heard there’s also homophobia but I’m not sure in which book.

I’m so annoyed cause her books are so expensive in the uk 😩

In terms of MZ apparently being problematic:
I've seen the screenshots of people claiming that she's racist because in one of her books there was a quote about how a Filipino meal didnt sound appealing. But it's the Gen Z generation that claims she's problematic. 1. Thats not racism. The meal described was something like kidney cooked in blood which doesnt exactly sound appealing to me either. Even if its a traditional Filipino meal. Thats not racism. 2. Gen Z finds EVERYTHING problematic. But whats actually problematic is cancelling everything and everyone over absolutely nothing. At this point every author is problematic in someone's eyes and you cant really read any book anymore. So screw that. If you want to read MZ books, then read MZ books.

if she finds the dish so horrible, what was the reason to include it into the book? to insult it? to make fun of it? is that a crucial plot point to the story or something? and if making fun of a marginalised community's dish is an important aspect of a book, then i think that in itself shows what kind of story it is and what kind of author she is.
but not only that she uses trans slurs, is extremely misogynistic, is disrespectful to sex workers, literally compared a black person's facial hair to pubic hair and uses token diverse characters but sure, ig it's just sensitive gen z's making a problem out of nothing.
AND considering she blocks anyone who calls her out, it's pretty obvious she's not willing to grow up into a decent human being.
