Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. I loved her book The Island of Sea Women. Been meaning to read Snow Flower.... for ages.
I recently finished The Snow Child and I feel like I was the only person who felt let down by this book. I’d heard so many good things about it and was very much looking forward to it and then it was just sort of...disappointing.
I didn't like Snow Child, either. *shrugs*
The Devil in the White City! I’ve been interested in reading this one for awhile
Oh I adore Lisa See. I read Shanghai Girls and Dreams of Joy and thought they were both very good..but Ive also had The Devil In the White City on my TBR list for a while now. Can I vote for 2? ;)
