Yes, sometimes it can be hard to find a copy of the book of the month or it's simply not available in your area. I've had that happen before in various groups.
One time I was gonna read the book of the month for another group...and I was number 77 of 80 people in a waiting list. Took six damn months for me to advance to 15 on a list of 100+ people waiting for a copy.
Often the book one of my groups picks is not even available at my library and it's a big library too with an inter loan system. So I just look at the website to see if it's available. Many times the library never even heard of the book. Some books are on Open Library. You can read there for free. It's good for lots of older books..
Open Library is a website where you can read books free. You can create a free account there and there are thousands of books to read. Just do a Google search for Open Library.
I'll think about it. I have so many passwords already... .
