Donna Thunderhead is amazing, but I think it should be bumped up to the Printz list.

I know his other books for young readers were adapted from adult, but I don't see a record of an adult version of this one.

I don't believe there is one. I have heard great things about Chasing King's Killer.

Yes, although that didn't seem to stop the selectors this year.
