I did contemplate voting on this poll and reading one of these but I just couldn't do it - I can't read horror stories, too scary, and I know Stephen King's reputation for them!

Thank you Tinka, there's bound to be something for me again. I am not too worried about sitting this one out though!

but what If I read the book, the monster comes to life, instantly slays me then comes and stalks you? you won't be safe until you have burnt all horror books. :-)

you should have nominated a non scary one, reckon you might enjoy The Talisman

Then all I'll do is slip on my armour of unfathomable light, my helmet of focus, brandish my shield of thrice reflecting and slay the monster with my sword of deadly smiting. Voila!
